WHY TO INSTALL A WATER MAKER ON BOAT?
Installing a desalination system on board is always an advantage, essentially for two reason:
1-
2-
THE BEST AUTONOMY
A watermaker allows the boat not to stop in harbors to make water. The major part of the pleasure yacht moves during the summery period, clogging the harbors expecially on the island. Sometimes the crowding of some harbors implies the rationing of the water. In order to solve the problem of supplying of the water, the watermaker is the only solution.
With a watermaker on board the yacht can stay out of the harbor without any problem. Why then to fill up the water tanks and to render the boat and little prestazionale heavier? You do not have to fill up and carry tons of water.
For the sailing boats this kind of equipment is absolutely indispensable in that avoids to sail with the fresh water tank full of water. The motor yacht can take advantage of the free water and use them as fuel tanks upgrading their autonomy.
QUALITY OF THE WATER
How is the quality of the water found in the harbors? Is it good enough for you? The water out coming from the watermaker is bacteriologically pure. This water is usable for all the on board application you can use it to cook, to drink and to have showers.
HP WATER MAKERS (MADE IN ITALY)
HP Water Makers produces the only full automatic watermakers on the market equipped with automatic pressure regulation valve, automatic membranes flushing, automatic membranes conserve system. If sea water conditions change in terms of temperature and salinity, a hand operated watermaker pressure regulation is needed to keep the unit and the pressure under control . Normally these operations must be effected in narrow and uncomfortable engine rooms, where these kind of equipment are fitted in. Furthermore these procedures are never that clear for all the users in that are difficult to remember in the right sequence, then normally the end user forgets how to operate the system properly with the consequent misuse of the system. In 2002 HP patented the first automatic pressure regulation valve, called RP TRONIC ®, which self regulates the working pressure of the system with any kind of water to treat, in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, or in the Caribbean. RP TRONIC ® system is equipped of a pressure sensor which measures the circuit pressure, increasing the working pressure at the set one, thanks to a micrometric electric motor which rotates clock and anticlock wise to increase or decrease the pressure levels. This kind of pressure regulation is unique and innovative in the water treatment plant industry. RP TRONIC ® is linked to a logic which controls all the functionality parameters:

All the RP TRONIC ® systems in case of emergency can be used in a hand operated mode, which is the same of the standard competitors unit. All the RP TRONIC ® systems are covered by 3 years warranty.
